Auchinachie Cares Presents Donation to Faith in Action Volunteers
Auchinachie Services continued its support of local organizations with a $1,000 donation to Faith in Action Volunteers.
Faith in Action Volunteers assist seniors in Broome County, helping them stay independent in their homes by providing services such as grocery delivery, errand running, and transportation to doctor's appointments.
- 100 volunteers help over 150 clients across the county
- Services aim to combat senior isolation through socialization programs
Our seniors, a lot of them are isolated, so we provide some different programming to help them get out and see other people and get a little bit of socialization.
Program Director Sue Spencer expressed gratitude for the donation, stating it will support the organization's mission.
Auchinachie Services' community service initiatives continue to support local organizations.
