DP World Expands Clubhouse Initiative to India
DP World, the main sponsor of the DP World Tour, has launched its Clubhouse initiative in India to promote golf among underserved youth.
Each Clubhouse is built using repurposed shipping containers and provides golf equipment, sheltered training areas, and a safe space for young talent.
- India is the second country to benefit from the programme after South Africa.
- The launch took place during the US$4 million DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club.
The initiative aims to make golf more accessible to young people around the world.
The launch ceremony was attended by notable golfers, including Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood.
