DP World Expands Clubhouse Initiative to India
DP World, a leading provider of smart logistics and main sponsor of the DP World Tour, has launched its Clubhouse initiative in India.
The Clubhouse initiative aims to make golf more accessible by providing purpose-built facilities to underserved youth worldwide. Each Clubhouse is built using repurposed shipping containers and offers golf equipment, sheltered training areas, and a safe space for young talent.
- India is the second country to benefit from the program, following the launch in Cape Town, South Africa, earlier this year.
- The launch coincided with the US$4 million DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club.
The initiative has garnered support from notable golfers, including Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood, who attended the launch ceremony.
