Police responded to a call about a male brandishing a knife and threatening customers at a gas station.
The incident occurred at the Pioneer Gas station at Wayne Gretzky Parkway and Henry Street at about 7 a.m. on July 1.
Officers handcuffed the man and removed the knife from his possession.
The province's Special Investigations Unit has cleared a Brantford Police officer of any wrongdoing in the arrest.
