Early Review of "Regretting You"
I had the opportunity to attend an advanced screening of "Regretting You" and I'm left feeling conflicted about the movie.
The film, based on Colleen Hoover's novel, tells the story of Morgan Grant (Allison Williams) and her teenage daughter Clara (Mckenna Grace) as they navigate the aftermath of a devastating accident that exposes a shocking betrayal.
As they confront family secrets and grief, both women explore complicated romantic relationships that test their trust and priorities, leading to some moving performances and resonant moments.
The theater lights went down, everyone leaned in, and before long the audience was audibly reacting to the big moments, from gasps to laughter to sniffles.
Overall, I felt lucky to have seen the movie early, but I'm still unsure if I liked it.
