Michael Clark Murder Defense Seeks Connection to JonBenét Investigation
Michael Clark, facing a retrial for a 1994 murder, is seeking documents that link his case to the infamous 1996 JonBenét Ramsey investigation.
Clark's defense team has filed 12 subpoenas to Boulder authorities, seeking documents and information connected to his case, in advance of his scheduled 2026 retrial for the killing of Marty Grisham.
Clark was convicted in 2012 and sentenced to life without parole for Grisham's murder, but he has maintained his innocence for over 30 years.
The case was initially unsolved for 17 years, but was reopened due to DNA analysis and testimony from forensic scientist Yvonne Woods, whose credibility has since been discredited.
Clark's defense team claims that alleged mistakes by Boulder police in his case are linked to the JonBenét Ramsey investigation.
