Katy Pride Relocates Celebration After Abrupt Venue Cancellation
Katy Pride organizers announced the celebration will move to Bear Creek Rodeo Arena this weekend after Typhoon Texas canceled less than 72 hours before the event.
The event will move forward with its long-planned celebration at Bear Creek Rodeo Arena, following the sudden cancellation of its original event venue.
Commissioner Lesley Briones and the Precinct 4 team quickly mobilized to ensure the event could still happen.
On Saturday, October 18, from 11 AM to 4 PM, Harris County Precinct 4 will host the 2025 Katy Pride Celebration at Bear Creek Pioneers Park.
Pride is essential in every community — especially now, when the rights of LGBTQIA+ Texans are increasingly under attack
