Uzbekistan Invests $100 Million to Boost AI Sector
The Uzbek government is investing $100 million to develop its AI sector, focusing on data centers, training programs, and partnerships with tech giants and universities.
Digital Technologies Minister Sherzod Shermatov stated that a large chunk of the government funding is intended for initiatives to attract foreign investors to construct data centers in Karakalpakstan, an autonomous region in western Uzbekistan.
