Masters of the Universe is one of 2026's most highly anticipated movies, with Mattel's Robbie Brenner hyping up the new take on He-Man after a recent screening.
Mattel aims to bring its famous franchises to theaters, following the success of Barbie, which grossed over $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office in 2023.
Next up is Amazon MGM's live-action Masters of the Universe movie. Robbie Brenner, President of Mattel Studios and Chief Content Officer, shared her experience visiting the reboot's set.
"I went and visited the set last year, and out of all the movies that I’ve worked on in my entire life — even Barbie — it was [the biggest]. I think we took over two or three sound stages. [Characters] walking around that are eight feet tall."
