The Inbetweeners will be returning after a deal between Banijay and Fudge Park Productions.
TV giant Banijay UK has struck a deal with Fudge Park Productions, founded by Inbetweeners creators Ian Morris and Damon Beesley, for a re-ignition of the cult teen comedy series.
The new project is said to revolve around the same core group of characters, last seen on the cusp of adulthood after attending Rudge Park Comprehensive.
Originally created as a counterbalance to the indie melodrama of Skins, The Inbetweeners is best known for its awkwardness and stories rooted in average UK adolescence.
The show is a cult teen comedy series.
