Our Superhero Cat Can Smell Diabetes
Kate and Leonie are grateful for their superhero cat Queenie, who can sniff out diabetes and knows when to call for help.
As they snuggled up with Queenie, they reminisced over the first time she walked into their lives. Their daughter, Jen, had spotted a post on Facebook in April 2022 about a local animal shelter trying to find Queenie a new home.
Despite initial hesitation after losing their previous pets, Kate fell in love with Queenie's photo and decided to meet her. Now, they feel complete with Queenie by their side.
‘We are so lucky to have you,’
Kate smiled, petting Queenie's soft tortie-coloured coat.
