FedNor Funding for Kap Paper
FedNor, the federal funding arm of Northern Ontario, has delivered $10 million in funding to Kap Paper, as part of a $12 million federal agreement.
The conditionally repayable funding will help the company maintain operations, explore new production opportunities, and proceed with business planning.
“That they will provide capital in many different forms to be able to pay for what we need to do,”
said Terry Skiffington, Company CEO. He added that this is a multi-100 million dollar pivot for the company.
“we are going to not only make it but as I said in my comments there that we are going to grow first from back to where we were and beyond that,”
said Skiffington, expressing optimism about the company's future.
