Armed Robbery Attempt in Boisar Jewellery Shop
A group of armed robbers stormed into a jewellery shop in Boisar's Ganesh Nagar area and opened fire, but fled without stealing anything.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. and fortunately, no injuries were reported. According to a Boisar police official,
The robbers appeared to panic and escaped from the spot, leaving their firearm behind.
Police teams recovered the weapon, which has been sent for forensic examination, and a probe is underway to identify and trace the suspects.
No FIR has been registered yet, but the investigation is ongoing.
