Former New Zealand assistant coach John Plumtree will step down as head coach of the Sharks at the end of this season.
The South African club announced that the 60-year-old will leave his position by mutual agreement at the end of the 2025/26 season.

The Sharks, with a team including Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, have had a disappointing season in the United Rugby Championship, currently lying 13th with just one win.
