Transat Café L'OR Update
After a tough start in the English Channel and a tricky light airs ridge in the Bay of Biscay, Jérémie Beyou and Morgan Lagravière on Charal are leading the race.
They are closely followed by Sam Goodchild and Loïs Berrehar on MACIF Sante Prévoyance, as well as Allagrande MAPEI and 11th Hour Racing, who have broken away from the rest of the pack.
The front runners have reached Cape Finisterre, northwest of Spain, and are now under the influence of a low-pressure system near the Azores, which will impact the race for the next few days.
The two crews are at the head of a tight group of four boats.
