Elon Musk's xAI Launches Grok-powered 'Grokipedia' Encyclopedia
Elon Musk’s xAI startup has launched Grokipedia, a new open-source encyclopedia powered by the company’s Grok chatbot.
Musk previously criticized Wikipedia for being too “biased,” and claims that Grok, with 885,279 articles, is already better than Wikipedia.
The goal of Grok and Grokipedia.com is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We will never be perfect, but we shall nonetheless strive towards that goal.
According to xAI’s Grok chatbot, the key difference between Grokipedia and Wikipedia is that Grokpedia prioritizes maximum truth-seeking over consensus-driven editing by synthesizing knowledge from diverse sources.
Musk also stated that version 1.0 of Grok will be “10x better”.
