Queer issues extend beyond identities and labels, and attacks on queerness are, in fact, attacks on humanity.
Our activism must consider the overlap of marginalized groups and how queer identities are impacted by social and political conflicts related to ethnic and racial groups.
This Queer History Month, we must acknowledge that the oppression of other communities affects queer issues too, as seen in the genocide in Gaza, the rise of global fascism, and housing insecurity.
