Installing Microsoft Store in Windows Sandbox with PowerShell Script
Windows Sandbox, a lightweight virtual desktop, can now have Microsoft Store installed using a simple PowerShell script.
Windows Sandbox is a testing environment for executable files, launched with Windows 10 version 1903 in 2018.
The feature provides an isolated and temporary virtual PC environment to install suspicious software or open sketchy documents without impacting the actual PC.
However, Windows Sandbox is only available for Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise, as well as the same versions of Windows 10.
By default, Windows Sandbox does not support Microsoft Store, but a workaround enables it with a PowerShell script.
