Tractor-Trailer Accident at Woodside Transit Hub
The Woodside transit hub at 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue was involved in an accident early Thursday morning.
A tractor-trailer driver slammed into the overpass after ignoring or not seeing a low clearance sign, according to the NYPD.
- Collision occurred at 4:30 a.m.
- No impact on 23 and 7 train service or Long Island Rail Road during morning rush
- Buses rerouted around intersection while tractor-trailer was dislodged
There were no injuries, and the truck operator remained at the scene and was not arrested. The investigation is ongoing, said an NYPD spokeswoman.
