Young Aussie Allegedly Doused in Petrol and Set Alight
A 19-year-old Australian, Jacob Thompson, is fighting for his life in hospital after being allegedly doused in petrol and set alight following a feud between two families.
Thompson sustained catastrophic third-degree burns to nearly a third of his body, including his face, torso, arms, back, and legs, in the incident that occurred on October 13 in rural New South Wales.
According to reports, Aaron Valette, 19, warned Thompson: 'If you come any closer, I'll burn you.'
