The Renters’ Rights Bill is expected to become law shortly after the Commons approves the final version of the bill.
Housing Minister Matthew Pennycook stated that the government will set out a plan for the bill’s implementation as soon as possible, but did not provide a specific date.
It was “in touching distance of becoming law”
Mr Pennycook thanked former Housing Secretary Angela Rayner for her work on the legislation.
