Colman Domingo will voice the Cowardly Lion in the highly anticipated musical sequel "Wicked: For Good".
The actor announced the news on his Instagram on Monday, putting an end to fan speculation. Director Jon M. Chu had previously teased that a significant name would be behind the character.
"Wicked" and "Wicked: For Good" were shot back-to-back as one giant production, adapting the smash hit Broadway musical into two movies.
The first film, released last November, was a commercial success, grossing over $756 million worldwide and earning 10 Oscar nominations and two wins.
