Redistricting Task Force Grapples with Vermont's Uniqueness
Area residents shared their thoughts and fears with the Vermont School Redistricting Task Force as it prepares a map to recommend to the Legislature.
Rich Werner of Dover, chairman of the River Valleys Unified Union School District, called Vermont "a unique place."
"You guys don't have an easy job,"he told the task force, citing transportation in rural and hilly areas as a major issue to consider.
