Nor'easter Wipes Out Replenished Beaches
The beaches of Bay Head, which were replenished over the summer, suffered significant erosion due to a nor'easter that hit the shore early this week.
A nor'easter storm brought strong winds and heavy rainfall to New Jersey on Sunday and Monday, causing flooding and damage across the state. The storm featured wind gusts of up to 60 mph and approximately three inches of rainfall, with waves reaching as high as 10 feet.

According to Mayor Bill Curtis, the borough of Bay Head experienced minor issues, including a few downed wires and sporadic power outages, which were quickly resolved. He attributed the limited damage to the direction of the wind, which helped keep the water off the roadways.
