Unfulfilled Promise in the MCU
Eight years after the release of Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, Marvel Studios has yet to deliver on a significant character tease from the film.
The movie, which premiered in 2017, featured Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, being stripped of his powers and trapped on the planet Sakaar, where he reunited with the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo.
Thor: Ragnarok introduced the Grandmaster, played by Jeff Goldblum, as the tyrannical leader of Sakaar, and also confirmed the existence of a beloved Marvel hero, although the character did not make their debut in the film.

Despite the tease, Marvel Studios has not yet paid off the introduction of this character, leaving fans waiting for a resolution.
