AAP FactCheck has discovered several deceptive Facebook pages claiming to belong to qualified medical professionals in Australian cities.
These supposed doctors are actually the product of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, handing out medical advice and treatments.
- Their profiles feature a biography section with listed qualifications.
- Profile photos show them in white coats with stethoscopes.
However, closer inspection reveals numerous signs that they are not real people but AI-generated fabrications.
AAP FactCheck reviewed the accounts and found them to be fake.
