Metal Shark Partners with HavocAI for Autonomous Maritime Solutions
Metal Shark, a Louisiana-based boat builder, has partnered with HavocAI, a Rhode Island-based specialist in swarm autonomy, to integrate autonomous technology into their fleet of high-speed maneuverable unmanned surface vessels (HSMUSVs).
The agreement demonstrates that the autonomous maritime capabilities required to defend the United States are real, and they’re available right now.
Havoc’s collaborative autonomy platform will enable a single operator to conduct complex operations involving multiple Metal Shark HSMUSVs simultaneously. This technology has already been deployed with the U.S. Army and used by multiple international allies in live operational settings.
