Four new saints will be canonized by Pope Leo XIV on October 19, 2025.
Pope Leo XIV will raise three women and four men to the altar on October 19, canonizing a diverse group of religious and lay men and women who held on to their faith amid personal, spiritual, and external challenges.
- Blessed María Carmen Elena Rendiles Martínez, born without a left arm, overcame physical challenges and founded the Servants of Jesus of Caracas.
- The congregation was dedicated to pastoral ministry and education.
The canonizations will elevate to sainthood seven candidates from Venezuela, Turkey, Papua New Guinea, and Italy.
