Spirit Halloween Brings Fun to Albany Medical Center Children's Hospital

Spirit Halloween store employees visited the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, bringing the fun of the holiday to children in the hospital.

Patients and families were able to pick from dozens of free costumes, made possible by donations collected at Spirit Halloween stores.

"It's better and better every year. Our motto is we try to make hospitals less scary for the children, so this is definitely something exciting for them,"

said Lisa Lyons, zone manager for Spirit Halloween. These donations also directly support the Child Life Program, which helps children and families cope with the stress of illness and injury.

Last year, Spirit Halloween donated more than $100,000 to the Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital Child Life Program.
