US Secretary of State Marco Rubio presented the core objectives of the American peace plan before his meeting with the Ukrainian delegation. The plan’s central aim is to guarantee Ukraine’s sovereignty and set the path toward long-term stability and economic revival.
Rubio stated that the plan seeks not merely to end the conflict but to create conditions for Ukraine’s “true prosperity and enduring freedom.” He stressed that peace must be supported by both political and economic measures, emphasizing the importance of strong partnerships between the United States, Ukraine, and European allies.
According to Rubio, the United States will continue coordinating with NATO and the European Union to ensure that the peace efforts align with global security interests. Support will include financial aid, modernization of Ukraine’s defense sector, and fostering regional economic integration.
“This is about securing not just peace, but independence and the promise of a better future for Ukraine,” Rubio said during the briefing.
The US peace plan, presented by Marco Rubio, places Ukraine’s security, independence, and economic revival at the heart of a broader strategy for lasting regional stability.
