Several months ago, Podunk’s youngest, Podunkpup, mentioned that he would be in Georgia to help his stepsister celebrate her wedding. I asked if he could stay for the WLOCP game, but he said no, as his job required him back in Oklahoma too soon. However, circumstances changed when Podunkpup received a better job offer. Before accepting, he ensured he had time to stay in Georgia through the game before returning home.
We considered attending the game in person, but good seats were beyond our budget. Podunkpup refused to sit in the uppermost seats, so we decided to watch the game together at my house.

It had been a few years since I last saw Podunkpup in person, and he looked much better. Though he arrived a bit late, I had TiVo, so we watched the entire game without commercials. I brought hot wings from Publix, and Mr. Squillian prepared what I declared the best ribs he’s ever made.
We were loud and proud, and everyone had a fantastic time. Podunkdawg was mentioned several times during the game. Whether it affected the outcome remains unknown on this side of heaven.
