SCAT Airlines Launches Prague to Sanya Route via Bishkek

Kazakh carrier SCAT Airlines will begin weekly flights connecting Prague to Sanya, with a technical stop in Bishkek. The route will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.

Prague Airport recently revealed on X that a new service linking the Czech capital with Sanya, located on Hainan Island in China, will commence soon. This route is operated by SCAT Airlines, a lesser-known Kazakh airline.

Established in 1997, SCAT Airlines is one of Kazakhstan’s oldest active carriers. The airline primarily serves Kazakhstan and Central Asia, with steady growth expanding its reach beyond domestic flights to several regional destinations. Starting December 21, SCAT Airlines will offer a weekly flight every Sunday from Prague to Sanya via Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan’s capital.
