Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher sharply criticized a fan who threw a flare during the band's concert in Melbourne, Australia, on October 4.
“To the massive CUNT who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne you are 1 seriously fucked up individual and you will get yours trust me,” Gallagher wrote on X (formerly Twitter) following the show at Marvel Stadium.
The incident happened during the final song, "Champagne Supernova," at the start of Oasis' Australian leg of their Live '25 reunion tour. The tour began on July 4 and includes additional shows in Melbourne and Sydney before ending in South America.
Brad Bultman, an attendee, shared his experience with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation:
“I thought the flare was part of the show at first. Then very quickly I saw it explode and expand a bit further, and then somebody actually picked up the live flare and tossed it back in the air and created more fire and smoke in a different area. I was like, 'Oh geez' — you hope nobody gets hurt.”
After the song concluded, Gallagher acknowledged the flare by joking, “naughty, naughty, naughty.”
Author’s Summary: Liam Gallagher strongly condemned a dangerous flare incident at Oasis' Melbourne concert, emphasizing safety concerns while continuing their Live '25 reunion tour.
