Ben Shapiro (born January 15, 1984, in Burbank, California) is a direct and outspoken conservative American commentator. He hosts The Ben Shapiro Show, one of the country’s most popular political podcasts.
Shapiro grew up in Burbank, Los Angeles County, in a two-bedroom house shared with his three older sisters. His mother worked as a TV company executive, and his father was a composer and pianist. Both parents identified as Reagan Republicans.
In 2015, Ben Shapiro co-founded The Daily Wire, a conservative media company that produces podcasts, streamed shows, scripted movies, and documentaries. As of 2024, the company's estimated value exceeded $220 million.
