In the Season Two finale of the Therapuss podcast, hosted by Jake Shane, Duff reflected on her creative journey and emotional readiness to reconnect with fans after ten years away from music.
“It was always going to happen,” Duff said. “There’s no way that that was not going to be a part of my story.”

“We have gone through a lot of the same things — complicated relationships, anxiety, raising kids, divorces, finding yourself in adulthood, family drama… Finally I felt safe enough and comfortable in my own family to open that part of myself again.”
