Communities across Inverness will honor those who died in conflict with Remembrance events this weekend. Hundreds are expected at the city’s main parade and service at Cavell Gardens war memorial.

The Inverness parade, led by the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS), veterans, cadets, youth groups, politicians, and civic leaders, will form in Huntly Street at 2:20 pm. This year, it features motorcyclists from the Highland Riders’ Branch of the RBLS.

The procession will cross the River Ness to the war memorial for the Remembrance service starting at 3 pm. It will include a two-minute silence, wreath-laying, and readings by Charleston Academy pupils.
