The 2025 Fall Mack Days Fishing Event on Flathead Lake, sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, concluded Sunday with a total of 19,144 lake trout entries, surpassing last year’s 18,414 entries.
A total of 335 anglers participated, with 116 submitting one or more lake trout entries. The catch totals were divided as follows:
Veteran angler Terry Krogstad of Kalispell earned the Top Angler title, submitting 1,206 entries with a 57.83 average over 18 days. The Top 10 anglers were ranked by their best 18 days of entries:
Jens Gran of Polson claimed victory in all three of the Bucket of Fish contests, totaling 93.65 pounds of lake trout.
