Remembrance Sunday falls on 9 November this year. Across Bracknell Forest, several events are organized to honor those who served and sacrificed to protect our freedoms and way of life.
The Poppy Shop at The Lexicon Bracknell (next to River Island) is open until Friday, 7 November, from 10am to 4pm. Visitors can purchase poppy merchandise to support the cause.
A number of giant poppies have been installed across Bracknell Forest this past week. They will stay until after Armistice Day, symbolizing gratitude to all armed forces personnel, their families, and veterans.
Bracknell Town Council will host the Remembrance Parade on Sunday 9 November. The parade starts at 10:40am outside Princess Square and proceeds through the town center and The Lexicon Bracknell.
Everyone is encouraged to line the parade route to pay their respects. Travel and parking delays are expected. Photography will take place during the event.

On Monday 10 November, Bracknell Town FC will play against Didcot Town in the Bucks and Berks County Cup. Kick-off is at 7:45pm at the SB Stadium.
