Venice hosts the 2025 edition of The Human Safety Net’s NetWorks summit, known as a movement of "people helping people." Its mission is to assist families with young children, from newborns to six-year-olds, and to help refugees through vocational training and business start-up assistance.
Over 80 NGOs from 25 countries across Europe, South America, and Asia have gathered to share experiences and create new partnerships. In total, more than 200 participants are taking part in the summit.
"The mission of The Human Safety Net is to support vulnerable families and foster refugee integration through training and community initiatives."
The summit is being held in the historic Procuratie buildings in St. Mark’s Square, recently restored by Generali, where the Casa of The Human Safety Net is located.
As part of the broader theme, the event also emphasizes that access to education and training creates a foundation for a stable future.
