Andrea Diamanti Appointed CEO of ING Italy

ING has announced that Andrea Diamanti will become Chief Executive Officer of ING Italy, effective 1 January 2026. He will take over from Michal Szczurek, who has led ING Italy since January 2023 and was instrumental in revitalizing the bank’s growth strategy and strengthening its universal banking presence in the country.

I am confident that Andrea, with his extensive international experience and the excellent results achieved at the helm of Wholesale Banking in Italy, will build on the successful foundation laid by Michal, to lead ING to the next step in its growth plan as a universal bank in Italy.”

— Pinar Abay, Global Head of Retail Banking
