Preparations are complete for SA Ambassador Nathi Mthethwa’s official Category 2 funeral in Dondotha.

Preparations have been finalized for the official state funeral, which is expected to start at 9 am at the Siyabonga Sangweni Sports Complex in Dondotha.
The late ambassador died in Paris last week, and his body was repatriated on Friday and transported to a mortuary in Empangeni before being taken to the Mthethwa homestead.
A cleansing ceremony was held outside the homestead, led by the Nazareth Baptist Church, before the remains were allowed to enter, due to the manner of the ambassador's passing.
A night vigil was held, where relatives, friends, and community members gathered to pay their last respects.
