A recent report by FMinus reveals that Canadian lobbyists represent both major polluters and environmental groups, potentially hindering the nation's climate action.
Major environmental organizations and civil society groups are using lobbyists who also work with Canada's biggest polluters, creating a conflict of interest.
"As the climate crisis gets worse for Canadians, there’s a hidden cause,"
said James Browning, founder and executive director of FMinus, in an interview with DeSmog.
