Runaway Again Wins Prince of Wales Stakes
Runaway Again won the $400,000 Prince of Wales Stakes on Tuesday at Fort Erie, running down King's Plate champion Mansetti late in the race.
The three-year-old colt provided jockey Ryan Munger and trainer Sid Attard with their first Canadian Triple Crown race wins.
When it was clear Mansetti was running out of gas, Runaway Again pounced.
After finishing 10th in the Plate in just his second career start, Runaway Again was brought to Fort Erie looking for redemption. Munger got a mid-pack spot early in the 1 3/16-mile race due to the quick pace.
