Canadian Olympian Rory Linkletter will chase a personal best and national record at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Linkletter, 29, from Alberta, will target the Canadian marathon record of 2:05:36, set by Cam Levins in 2023.
At the elite press conference, Linkletter made a statement with his outfit, wearing a full Canadian tuxedo, including a Levi's jean jacket and slim denim jeans.
He looked more like he'd just stepped out of a Bruce Springsteen concert than into a marathon elite press conference.
Linkletter's unique style stood out among other athletes, such as John Korir and Jacob Kiplimo, who wore Nike tracksuits.
