The Heber City Council has chosen a consulting firm to design improvements for City Park, aiming to create a community "living room".
As part of the Envision Central Heber plan to revitalize downtown, the council hired Terracon, a Salt Lake City consulting firm.
“They have done many projects like this throughout the state,” said Councilmember Sid Ostergaard. “They know what they’re doing.”
Ostergaard expressed appreciation for the company's experience in applying for grants and finding creative funding methods.
“That’s huge for us as a city,” he said. “We want to self-fund this park and the design of it and the building of it, via going after grants and making sure that we’re not using taxpayer money to do this.”
