AV, a company formed by the merger of AeroVironment and BlueHalo, debuted a new loitering munition, Switchblade 400, for the US Army's Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance (LASSO).
The Switchblade 400 was showcased at the AV booth at AUSA 2025, with Brian Young, vice-president of loitering munitions systems, stating that the army released a request for proposal (RFP) for an unmanned anti-tank weapon for LASSO over the summer.
AV submitted its new munition for the US Army's LASSO program.
