RMAF Chief Reviews Progress On Rohingya Situation
The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Chief, General Tan Sri Affendi Buang, has reviewed the progress made in addressing the Rohingya situation. The review was conducted during a visit to the RMAF's command centre in Kuala Lumpur.
According to a statement released by the RMAF, General Affendi has emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong and effective air force in order to ensure the country's security and stability. He has also stressed the need for continuous training and upgrading of the air force's capabilities in order to meet the changing security threats.
"The RMAF has made significant progress in addressing the Rohingya situation, and we will continue to work closely with other agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of the affected communities," General Affendi said.
The RMAF Chief also highlighted the role of the air force in providing humanitarian aid and assistance to the affected communities in the region. He stated that the RMAF will continue to work closely with other agencies and international partners to address the root causes of the Rohingya crisis.
