Robert Pattinson has revealed he was "stunned" by JK Rowling's script for the first Harry Potter film. The actor, who played the role of Cedric Diggory in the 2005 movie, said he was amazed by the author's ability to create such a detailed and immersive world. "I was reading the script, and I was like, 'Wow, she's written this entire world, and every single character, and every single story... it's just incredible," he said in an interview with The Sunday Times.
Pattinson also praised Rowling's writing style, saying it was like "nothing I'd ever read before". He added that he was particularly impressed by the way she wove together different storylines and characters to create a cohesive narrative. "It's like she's got this huge, sprawling, amazing novel, and she's just condensed it into this tiny little movie," he said.
The actor's comments come as the Harry Potter franchise continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The first film, which was released in 2001, was a critical and commercial success, and paved the way for a successful series of movies and other media.
