Markel International Appoints New Chief Underwriting Officer
Markel International has appointed Tom Hillier as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) and introduced a new operational structure.
Hillier, who has been with Markel since December 2023, will oversee underwriting strategy and governance across the company's international operations.
Previously, Hillier served as Managing Director – Specialty, after launching the specialty practice within Markel's international wholesale division.
He will be responsible for underwriting strategy and governance across Markel's international operations.
