Actor and comedian Amy Schumer is reducing her real estate holdings. After listing her Brooklyn Heights townhouse in March, she is now selling her New Orleans pied-à-terre for $1.25 million, according to Nola.com.
Schumer and her husband, chef and farmer Chris Fischer, bought the French Quarter home, built in 1886, in 2021. Their purchase placed them among other celebrities owning properties in the historic area, such as Lenny Kravitz, Nicolas Cage, and former couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Earlier this year, the couple renovated the property. Improvements included installing a new slate roof and kitchen updates such as a large wooden island and luxury appliances.
“I fell in love with the city in 2016,” Schumer explained, which inspired the purchase of the cozy New Orleans residence despite their primary base being New York City.
The actor affectionately refers to the home as her “dream, dramatic New Orleans hang.”
Amy Schumer is streamlining her home portfolio by selling her creatively renovated French Quarter pied-à-terre, blending historic charm with modern luxury in a vibrant New Orleans neighborhood.
