Lucky Prestatyn Street Named People's Postcode Lottery Winner
Residents of a Prestatyn street have reason to celebrate after being named one of today’s People’s Postcode Lottery winners on Friday, November 7.
The winning postcode, LL19 7NX (Glan Mor), was part of the daily UK £1,000 prize draw. Every day, 20 postcodes across the UK are randomly selected, with each winning street’s participants receiving £1,000 per ticket.
How the Lottery Works
The People’s Postcode Lottery operates draws for 20 different Postcode Trusts. Each participant pays £12 per month to take part in the daily draws, and about one-third of every ticket sale is donated to charity.
In addition to daily draws, there is a weekly Thursday draw where players across 1,000 postcodes each win £10.
